Background History

The Integrated Community Development Society (ICDS) is a non-profit, voluntary development organization operating in the coastal regions of southern Bangladesh. Established on 1 July 2007 by a group of committed young social activists, ICDS aims to bring sustainable improvements in the lives of marginalized and vulnerable communities. ICDS follows an integrated and participatory development approach, ensuring active involvement of community members in planning, implementation, and monitoring processes. This bottom-up methodology enables the organization to effectively respond to the real needs and priorities of its target populations.
